During a cruise stop in Barbados, our purser suggested an afternoon of leisure at Casuarina. We taxied over from the harbor - fifteen minutes to this oasis of tranquillity where warm hospitality amidst a splendidly lush setting convinced our group that we had indeed arrived in paradise. As we settled down on a powder-like sandy beach, our senses were heightened by colors only nature could provide; the aquamarine sea, spectacular oleander and vibrant hibiscus, all indigenous to the region. We look forward to returning to this delightful resort for some R & R someday soon.
